The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) was established by the Minister
of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the year 2000.The Commission for
Academic Accreditaion is the Federal Government's Quality Assurance Agency
charged with promoting educational excellence across diverse institutions of
higher learning in the UAE.Through licensure of post-secondary educational
institutions, and accreditation of individual programs ,the Commission strives to
assure high quality education ,consistent with international standards.
The CAA recently received international recognition from the International
Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) for meeting
International Guidelines of Good Practice.
